Ethical Manufacturing

Ethical manufacturing is something we feel very strongly about at EKIZAH STUDIO. When we say that our pieces are made with love, for you to love, we really mean it. All of our garments are ethically made by our direct manufacturing teams in both Guangdong Province, China and London, United Kingdom. It is ensured that any EKIZAH STUDIO employee or employee of our chosen manufacturing partners are paid a fair wage, able to work acceptable hours in a safe working environment and are of a minimum age requirement to be working. We are aware that this should be a given in any sort of fashion company or brand but unfortunately, that is still not the case for many. We are an independent brand who prioritise human rights, animal rights (all fabrics and products are 100% cruelty free) and safe working conditions more than obtaining the lowest price in any situation. We employ independent staff who are trained to recognise the standard of employment and working environment we expect of any factories/suppliers that we choose to partner with. Not only this but we have built strong, long-standing relationships with the small number of selected factories that we work with and hope that we can continue to grow together as we continue to see demand and love for EKIZAH STUDIO garments, ensuring both stable jobs and a sustainable income for those that we partner with.

All EKIZAH STUDIO orders are packaged in eco-friendly 100% compostable packaging (by both home and industrial compostable standards). This includes both our garment protection bags and our mail bags which are made out of cornstarch rather than plastic and can be discarded with green waste to decompose naturally. All of our clothing is sustainably made in small batches to ensure no excess stock ever goes to landfill. We endeavour to create high quality, beautifully made garments designed to last. We do ask our customers to take care of their EKIZAH STUDIO pieces and help us with this. By caring for garments the right way and looking after your pieces, you can double the life of a garment and reduce the climate impact in half. There is always room for improvement and we are constantly working to explore further ways into which we can make our brand more sustainable while continuing to provide garments at a price that our customers can continue to support and enjoy.

We are an equal opportunities employer, committed to equality of opportunity and to providing a service in all areas of employment including recruitment, selection, training, deployment, career development, and promotion by following practices which are free from unfair and unlawful discrimination. We value people as individuals with diverse opinions, cultures, lifestyles and circumstances and ensure that no applicant or member of staff receives less favourable treatment on the grounds of age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage and civil partnership, pregnancy or maternity, race, religion or belief, sex or sexual orientation, or is disadvantaged by conditions or requirements.

We built EKIZAH STUDIO on values of kindness, something we feel the world needs now more than ever. We are aware of the opportunity created by having a platform that can be used to elevate & amplify the voices of others! We regularly use our platform to share movements and causes and it is important to us that we give back where we can, raising awareness and donating to causes close to our hearts such as ALL OUT ( ) , MIND , STOP HATE UK (, WOMEN’S AID ( and HELP REFUGEES (
